Zanatta: “I liked the team today.”

Words, before images.

Words, instead of dry reporting.

Words, those of Stefano Zanatta. Sports Director, man in the race.

“I cannot say anything to the boys today: they did well. Unfortunately, bad luck in this Adriatica Ionica Race doesn’t want to give us a break, and even today it hit us with the fall of Diego Sevilla: he was in the breakaway, he was in front with the best and he was pedaling very well when he fell and was cut off. Then we decided to put ourselves in the front to pull, we made the team work and the guys did great. Too bad, really for these falls: twice Fortunato, today Diego. We did a Giro d’Italia without ever a crash, and now we are always on the ground. Tomorrow a sprint finish is expected, we hope to put Lonardi in the best condition.”
