Ludovico Crescioli
Pro team
For his 21st birthday, this valiant athlete gifted himself… a leap into the professional ranks with Team Polti VisitMalta! A well-deserved milestone, crowning a 2024 season that saw him collect prestigious podium finishes with the Emilia-Romagna-based Continental team Technipes, culminating in a stage win in the French Alps at the Tour de l’Avenir wearing the jersey of the Italian U23 National Team. Hailing from Lazzeretto near Florence, his love for cycling was passed down to him and his brother Giosuè by their father Adriano, a race judge and former rider. From a very young age Ludovico began participating in skill courses, and his development took place entirely in Tuscan clubs: Stabbia, Valdinievole, Empolese (where he won the challenging Lugo – San Marino in both his U17 seasons) then Casano and, for his first two U23 years, Mastromarco. From there, he soared to new climbs and horizons, dreaming of the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France while always thinking back to Alberto Contador’s “dances on the pedals” that fascinated him as a child. And with a current teammate like Pietrobon to teach him piano — a newfound hobby for the young Crescioli — he’s ready for this next chapter.
