Iván Estévez

The whole family of Iván, from Cigales, Valladolid, has been linked to cycling, and when he was 6 years old he asked his father for a road bike. In his first race he came third, and although he later focused on the mountains, he decided that the road was going to be his objective when he was a cadet. Last season he led the Spanish Cup and the Castilla y León Cup, showing a great level with the Norinver Impalag team. His strong point is the mountains, the hardest climbs. In the breakaways, his combativeness and courage have made him a cyclist with a lot of projection. Ivan studies the basic degree in mechanics, his idol is Tadej Pogacar and his favourite food is pasta bolognese. He has a Yorkshire dog called Peter, in homage to Peter Sagan and his favourite place is the Sierra de Grazalema.
