Anxo Delgado

This Galician cyclist will make his debut in the U19 category coming from CC Compostelano. Anxo started cycling when he was 4 years old and did the Camino de Santiago when he was 7. As a child he started to compete because his father told him that he had qualities. Last season, as a cadet, he won the regional title demonstrating his quality and projection that he now hopes to confirm in Team Polti Visit Malta. ‘I really like climbing steep mountains, they are the ones I am best at because I have a lot of strength and explosiveness’, explains Anxo, whose idols are Tadej Pogacar and Mathieu Van der Poel. His favourite food is churrasco steak and his favourite places are the summits of any mountain pass with good views.
