Andrea Pietrobon

The towering rouleur-pianist from the heart of the Dolomites gained valuable experience in the U23 team of the Fundación Contador in 2022, following stints with prestigious Italian Continental teams like Zalf and Cycling Team Friuli. Despite a bad crash that kept him sidelined over the summer, “Pietro” earned his promotion to the first team through relentless breakaways and a true team-player attitude. A close friend of the Bais brothers, he experienced a magical May in 2024 during the Giro d’Italia: he claimed the breakaway Classification and secured a third place in the Lucca stage after dreaming big with a late solo attack. His passion for cycling, not inherited from anyone in particular, ignited when he was eleven years old, and his very first victory came as a Cadet, riding a borrowed bike since his had been stolen the night before.
