Polti VisitMalta U19 ready to start the competition

The youth team of the Alberto Contador Foundation was concentrated for five days in Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort, with all the facilities and attentions for the last tune-up before the competitive debut of the season.
Great atmosphere, medical tests, trainings and tests, new material and the illusion in the eyes of the 15 riders who were concentrated in Oliva. The Team Polti VisitMalta U19 made the last tests that precede the start of the competition in the Guadiana Circuit, first Spanish Cup on February 22nd.
Strength sessions in the gym, medical tests with the Emen4Sport team, training sessions led by the trainers looking for the physical shape for a successful competitive start… and undoubtedly the necessary environment for the riders to train with a view to their professional future.
Isaac Cantón, sports director of the Polti VisitMalta U19 team, praised ‘the opportunity of this training camp at the Oliva Nova facilities. Being able to have five days in an environment and with the resources of a professional team for these tests prior to the start of the competition is a privilege that we have taken full advantage of. In terms of performance, I think we have a very nice team for this year, we have checked the potential and we are looking forward to start the Spanish Cup aspiring to everything’.
With the indications of the technical team, and the confidence that this remaining week will serve for the riders to finish polishing their physical shape and also to rest and combine it with their academic studies, Team Polti VisitMalta is looking forward to the Circuito del Guadiana, the start of the season.
