Emen4sport renews its partnership with Team Polti VisitMalta
Health and nutrition are two fundamental pillars for Team Polti VisitMalta, which in 2025 will continue to count on the professionalism, technology and monitoring of Emen4sport to guarantee excellence in the performance of all its cyclists.
Emen4sport is a company specialised in sports performance through an innovative method in which prestigious professionals work in an interdisciplinary way to obtain the best version of each athlete. With this objective in mind, the Emen4sport professionals have been carrying out medical check-ups since the training camps prior to the start of the season and have scheduled nutritional monitoring to ensure the maximum performance in competition of the Team Polti VisitMalta.
Medical monitoring with power tests, VO2 tests or the plicometry that is performed to measure changes during the season, are just some of the procedures that are applied to know and help each cyclist in a personalised way. The riders of the youth team have been able to undergo this whole process that guarantees a correct development during the season, and at the same time protects the cyclists from any medical risk. For the professional team, all the attention is focused on nutrition, food intake and the correct management of calories for competition.
‘We have been working with Emen4sport for a year now, the professionals are helping us to adapt to the most important change in cycling today, which is nutrition. The idea is to continue improving together with them’, explains Diego Pablo Sevilla, cyclist of the team. Specifically, on the modification in food intake, he emphasises ‘carbohydrates, which we now consume both in and out of competition, and allow us to face the enormous wear and tear on our body during the race with greater solvency’, adds Sevilla.
