Jaume Barceló leads Team Polti VisitMalta U19 in Cantabria

Second place in the GP Baruco and 8th position in the Memorial Chele Campos. A good weekend in which Jaume Barceló regained his good level and the team looked for the victory, which was close on the opening day.

Rainy weekend and demanding terrain in Cantabria, where the Team Polti VisitMalta U19 wanted to maintain its good level of the last weeks and was again at the edge of the triumph. In the first race, the GP Baruco, only the winner Peace (Toufati) was able to get ahead of the group in which Jaume Barceló was second, the fastest in the sprint.

With these good feelings, the second day of the Memorial Chele Campos was tackled, where the weather played a fundamental role and the race broke down in the final part. The attacks again allowed Peace to take the win, while Barceló was able to hold off the favourites and fight for 5th place, finishing in 8th position.

The team is already thinking about the next events, with the Vuelta a los Valles Cántabros taking place this weekend.
