Davide Bais

This is Davide Bais’ fifth season with the current Team Polti VisitMalta. His constant trait is his great generosity in serving his teammates and the breakaways, and his standout moment is the victory on Gran Sasso (with an entire week at the top of the mountains classification) in the 2023 Giro d’Italia. A lifetime dream, which “ratified” his continuous growth that had already been evident in the two seasons in the Continental category. With the Cycling Team Friuli jersey, he was one of the most active riders in the 2020 Giro Under 23, while with the ProTeam of the Fundación Contador, he wore the green jersey of the GPM for several days at the Tirreno-Adriatico in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He and his big brother Mattia (who has been with him in the team for two years now) fell in love with cycling as kids, watching the races passing near their home in Nogaredo, Trentino. A land of wonderful mountains, where Davide finds peace and happiness, alone or with friends, preferably walking with his beloved four-legged friend named Sky.
